Code of Conduct Athletes
You are entitled to:
- Have fun and enjoy being a member of Clongriffin A.C.
- Be listened and have your voice heard
- Be treated with dignity and respect
- Be safe and to feel safe
- Participate on an equal and inclusive basis
- Experience competition/training at a level at which you are happy
- Make complaints and have them dealt with
- Get help against those who are bully
- Say No
- Privacy and confidentiality
You should always:
- Be respectful and listen to your coach and club officers
- Treat your club mates with respect and be inclusive
- Be fair and act responsibly
- Try your best
- Respect your competition and be gracious in defeat
- Abide by the rules as set out by the group or team you are with
You should never:
- Intimidate, use physical contact that is not welcome
- Shout at or argue with another person unreasonably
- Cause harm to or damage property
- Bully or threaten another person online or offline
- Spread or circulate rumours online or offline about another person
- Tell lies
