Dublin Indoor Championship Update: With the lifting of most of Covid restrictions, all dates have been confirmed for the Dublin Indoor Championships with all taking place in the National Indoor Arena in Abbottstown. This is great news and the athletes now have an exciting indoor season to look forward to for the month of February. Spectators are allowed to attend with a €5 admission fee. Athletes will need a competition vest or Clongriffin AC t-shirt when competing. Spikes are optional but are beneficial.
Under 15 & 16 (Born 2007 / 2008): Individual events 5th (Sat) and 6th (Sun) of February. Relays 20th (Sun) of February.
The coaching team for these age groups have already started planning entries for this competition and will be finalised by next Wednesday, 26th Jan. See timetables below for the individual events. For the relays even ages will compete AM and uneven Ages compete PM. The details on the specifics of competition day will be shared in due course.
Under 9 to Under 14 (Born 2009 – 2014): Individual events 13th (Sun) and 19th (Sat) February. Relays 20th (Sun) of February for ages 2013 up.
The coaching team for these age groups have also started planning entries for this competition. For athletes born 2012 – 2014, could you please complete the linked forms by Wednesday 26th of Jan. This will massively assist the coaching team in preparation and ensure we have athletes entered by the deadline.
