Clongriffin Athletic Club delivered an outstanding performance at the recent All-Ireland Indoor Championships, finishing 5th overall in the Juvenile Club rankings based on Placing Tables.
Placing Tables award points for finishing positions across all events and age groups, meaning this ranking reflects the strength of the club’s system — depth, consistency, and contribution across all squads — rather than isolated individual results.
This represents a significant improvement of 8 places, up from 13th in 2025, and highlights the continued progression of the club at national level.
With over 360 clubs in Ireland and 170 clubs scoring points at this year’s championships, finishing in the Top 5 nationally is a major achievement and a clear reflection of the club’s structured development pathway and coaching model.
A Collective Achievement
This success belongs to:
- All athletes who competed and contributed points at All-Ireland level but all athletes in the Club who contribute to making it a vibrant Club.
- Coaches who continue to deliver consistent, high-quality training
- Parents and volunteers who support the club week in, week out
While performances at national level are an important marker of progress, the club remains equally focused on recognising commitment and consistency across all levels of competition. This is further reflected in the introduction of the Clongriffin Commitment & Consistency (C&C) League, which will reward athletes who show up, compete, and contribute throughout the season. More on that to follow.
