A small bit of club history was made in the recent Dublin Even Ages Cross Country when the Boys u14 became the first club team to qualify for the All-Irelands.
Led home by Max in 13th, the boys packed superbly with Senan, Joshua and Alex all in the Top 25 and with brilliant back up from Cillian and Oran, the boys were only four points off a medal. That disappointment had a silver lining as they did qualify for All-Irelands.
Those All-Irelands will be in Derry at the end of the November. A great achievement from the team as four of the squad only starting running in the past few months. Great credit to their middle distance coach, Marie.
The Boys u10 also had a 4th place team finish led home brilliantly by Darragh who claimed an individual medal in 6th. Darragh has been in super form this winter with top performances in the League and here he was supported strongly by Oliver, Sean, Frankie Joseph (making his debut), Eren, Jack, Conor and Fionn.
