It was a silver medal over 60m at today Irish u20 Championships in Athlone. Having gone into the Championships with a PB of 7.75, Alicja lowered that to new territory with 7.58 to win her heat in the early morning session. She followed that up with another new PB of 7.57 to take silver behind Precious Akpe-Moses and just ahead of Destiny Lawal.
This time ranks Alicja #3 on the All-Time u17 Irish Rankings, only behind Rhasidat Adeleke (7.43) and Ciara Neville (7.45).
This was the first Irish u20 Championships an athlete from the Club has competed in.
