Annual Club Awards

The Annual Club Awards took place last Sunday in Trinity Sports & Leisure Centre. The following awards were presented on the day:

Overall Athlete of the Year

Alicja Doyle (Girls u16) was announced as the Overall Athlete of the Year. Her stellar year included several Dublin titles and three medals at All-Ireland level.

In a year with very high standards, Marianne O’Farrell was 2nd with Patryk Pucek in 3rd.

All-Star Awards

These awards wer presented to the 10 Boys and 10 Girls who performed best at the Dublin and All-Ireland Club Championship. They are based on a points system.

Nominated by the coaches who they feel best demonstrate the core values of the club.

Engagement: always comes ready, thinking ahead of how they can help themselves, their teammates, their coaches

Daring: demonstrates bravery in trying things that may be hard, in training, new events, competitions.
